Silly Girl

Here are a few photo's of some silly things that Kenzie loves to do.

I was in the kitchen for just a couple minutes when I came to check on Kenzie and found wipes all over the living room.

Not sure why but this little girl LOVES to suck on wipes. She will just scoot around with a wipe hanging out of her mouth sucking on it.

She also loves to play with our remotes.

Kenzie was just hanging out on her pillow like this for the longest time talking and making noises. It was so cute!

When I gave her a bath a few days ago she wouldn't sit in the water. She just stayed up on her hands and feet like this. It was so funny. She looks like Mowgli in the movie The Jungle Book.

Can you imagine sleeping with your arm tucked under you like this?

Daddy Daughter

Here are some pictures Steve, Shane's dad took of Kenzie and Shane. I love these pictures! Thanks Steve!

I finally got my computer back so now I can blog again! Hooray! Sorry it's been so long since my last post. Here are some pictures we've taken in the last couple months. More to come soon!

I set Kenz on the couch with a few toys to keep her occupied while I cleaned up the living room. I guess the toys I gave her weren't interesting enough:)

Whenever I am in the kitchen, I can expect Makenzie to scoot in and join me with whatever I am doing in a matter of minutes. I was doing dishes this day and she just scooted right under the dishwasher foldout so she could be with me. She has done it several times since. I just love her so much!

I was in the kitchen when I heard my poor baby crying. She was trying to make her way to me but scooted herself into this little road block. She was stuck and couldn't get herself out. I thought it was so cute and sad at the same time.

He Sent His Son Video, for real this time:)

So.... I accidentally linked the completely wrong video in my last post. I had never heard that other song before. Sorry. THIS is the right one. I hope you all enjoy it :)

Easter

So I know this is pretty late but a friend of Shane's has had our computers for the last couple of weeks and has been trying to fix them. I decided just to use Shane's work computer and settle with the awful red-eye tool that is offered on it so that I could finally get these pictures up. ANYWAY.... Easter was wonderful! I didn't get a picture with them, but Shane and I were able to spend some time with my grandpa, mother, and sister, Emma, before we went over to Shane's parents house for dinner. It is always so nice to spend time with family. Shane and I are so blessed to be able to live close to both sides of our families. There is nothing better in all the world than being with family.

Allyson made the most gorgeous tart I have ever seen for our Easter dessert. It was as delicious as it was beautiful.

I love Easter. I love celebrating our Savior, Jesus Christ. I am so thankful for Him: for the life He lived, the example that He set, for the ultimate sacrifice which He made that we might be able to return again to our Heavenly Father. THIS is one of my favorite primary songs about Christ. It is called "He Sent His Son" I would invite all of you to listen to this beautiful arrangement by the Mormon Tabernacle Choir.

Idaho!!!! Part 2

Being in Idaho was so much fun! We went to a book fair, walked to the library, ate at the Cocoa Bean (the best cupcake shop EVER), shopped and just enjoyed everyone's company. Katie taught me how to crochet while I was there too. I'm still working on the same washcloth that I started when I was there 3 weeks ago. I have undone and redone it about 10 rimes now. Mom and Emma surprised us all by coming on Sunday! It was so fun to have all of the kids together. The only think that could have made this trip better is if Dad and Shane had been able to come too. Then the WHOLE family would have been together. I love my family so much and am so grateful for the love and the friendships that bind our family together.

Riley was rocking out with the guitar. I wish I could remember some of the words she was singing:)

Kaylee took this beautiful picture of Katie and me.

"M" for Makenzie and Mallory

I love this picture so much. I love how Mallory looks like she is doing the "Step in Time" dace from Marry Poppins and Kenzie's face is pretty awesome too.

Rachel came to visit us while I was in Idaho. She made all the girls shirts/onsies with their first initials on them. When she finished passing all of them out she pulled out one more tiny little onsie that said "baby" on it and said "And THIS one is for ME!" Rachel is PREGNANT! I am so excited for her. I know that she is going to be the best mother ever.

This is my favorite Rachel smile. Isn't she just a glowing, gorgeous beauty?

Uncle Drew holding the cutest beanie babies!

They are already best friends. Just look at them holding hands.

Emma teaching the girls how to play cards.

Kenzie was sitting next to Zach on the couch for a long time before she so lovingly rested her head on Zach's lap.

Riley put together some of the coolest outfit's while I was visiting. This one was one of my favorites. She's wearing Mallory's overalls.

Idaho!!!! Part one

Kenzie and I went on a little trip to Idaho a couple weeks ago. We flew there on March 26, Andrew's Birthday. He is 20 years old now. Katie and I blew up Balloons and hung them form the ceiling but Andrew snuck in before we were finished. He was still very appreciative. Zach and a bunch of his and Andrew's friends joined us for the party of Papa Murphey's pizza and a YUMMY pineapple cake that Katie made.

Classic Andrew :)

Lily brought Andrew all of his presents. She's such a big helper.

These are good friends of Andrew and Zach.

And this is Zach's girlfriend. Her name is Rachel and she is a very good and sweet girl.

The girls loved helping Andrew open his presents.

We had a very fun night and Andrew got some very neat presents. I still can't believe my little brother is 20 years old!
