Cookies, Naps and Mischief

I kind of love it when my children get stuck.

This had been her favorite place to nap lately.

"Pinking" cookies. We don't frost cookies, we paint them!

Henry has SUCH a generous sister! Look at all those cookies! She even threw that box away after she emptied it out on his tray.

She also helped him dumb his water all over them so that they would be nice and soft. Mmmmm! Mushy cookies!

Henry got really sad when I took the jar of Resinol that he was trying to drink (hence the ring of ointment around his mouth) away from him.

Easter

Our court had a fun little Easter egg hunt on the Saturday before Easter. Kenzie had so much fun picking up the eggs and finding a piece of candy in each one!

We looked EVERYWHERE for our Easter egg dye so that we could make some pretty eggs on Easter Sunday but they were nowhere to be found. The next day, they magically appeared on our kitchen table. No one knows how they got there... so we made our eggs a day late. It' turns out, dying eggs after Easter is just as much fun! Who would have thought?!

Playing at Parks

A couple of weeks ago, both of my children got hand, foot and mouth sickness (it's actually called hand, foot and mouth "disease" but Shane doesn't like to use that word). Since it is very contagious, we had to stay away from our very beloved playground/front yard, so that we wouldn't get the other kids in our complex sick. So we had to go out to less-populated areas to play. One of our favorite places is the This Is The Place park. There is a little trail to walk on, green grass to play on, and some fun monuments to climb on (because that's what they are made for, right?

Our bubble got pretty shaken up on our way to the park so it was really hard to get some good bubbles going.

Please zoom up on this picture to see that extremely rolley ankle! I love this little boy's chubs!

Sorry for the next hundred photo's of Makenzie jumping. I cant help it, I just LOVE the way she jumps!

We also went to Sugar House Park where there is a great pond that tons of birds like to hang out at. We had lots of fun feeding them our loaf of bread.

My little Mowgli baby!

And these are at This Is The Place again
