April

We had lots of fun things happen in April. Family came to visit, Molly was born, Henry turned two. It was just a great month!
Just hangin out with their babies.

(Almost) my whole Chirstensen side of the family got together for General Conference weekend which also happened to be Easter. We had such a fun time catching up with each other, swimming, and watching General Conference together. We also had an Easter egg hunt for the kids on Sunday morning.

Little Matty boy!

On Sunday evening, we all went to my sister-in-law's wonderful mother's house and had a delicious meal. We took advantage of Karen's beautiful yard to take some pictures :)

I was really hoping that Molly would come so my whole family could be there to greet her.

But she came a week later. I'm so glad my mom was able to be here to greet her into the world.

Henry LOVES his cars!

Makenzie thought that Molly needed some sleeping buddies :)

She's such a thoughtful girl.

Carole came a week after Molly was born. We had a lovely visit.

Henry so generously shared his cracker with the baby doll.

I love it when Molly holds her little cheek like this.

Henry

My little Henry. Well, I must be honest with you, Henry has been a very challenging child his entire life. BUT he sure makes up for it with his sweet smile and loving hugs. Henry loves to climb, play outside and bounce on his rocking horse. He loves to sing and can even carry a tune. I often hear him singing different theme songs from Star Wars, especially The Imperial March (Darth Vador's jam). When Henry is upset, I can almost always distract him by singing "If you're happy and you know it," and by time we get to the end, he is joyfully shouting "hooray!" with me. Henry LOVES cars! Anything that has four wheels, basically. He usually has at least three different cars with him at all times. I love observing him when he drives his car on all the furniture, on the door, on Molly, saying "beep beep!" He is so adorable. Henry also loves to play with our baby doll. He is so sweet with her. He wraps her up in blankets, feeds her, and tucks her into bed when she's tired. Henry loves to be read to. He brings me book after book after book and is never quite satisfied with how much I read. He takes a book to bed with him almost every night.

Henry also has the longest and thickest eyelashes I've ever seen. He is so lucky!

Gotta show pictures of the sleeping sweetheart on the couch:

It took him about 20 blows, but Henry finally got those candles out once Daddy held him closer to the flames.

He is a pretty good eater.

I took a two-year-old photo shoot of my cute boy and had a hard time choosing which photo's to post so I didn't decide and posted pretty much all of them.

My smoking Man!

I sure love this little boy. He is such a light in my life!
