Best Friend Cousins

Here is Makenzie with her best-friend-cousin, Mallory. Mallory is 2 months younger than Kenz.
Kenzie loves to put anything that's close to her face into her mouth.

I love little Mallory's hand on Makenzie's shoulder.

Milestone

This is a little late, but Makenzie lifted her head for the first time on November 9th. It is is exciting and she does such a great job. She also coo's and coo's! It is the sweetest sound you could ever hear.

My sleeping babies

She is just so cute!

Makenzie loves to put her hands on her cheeks while I'm breastfeeding her. It is so cute! This was right after she was done eating.

Blessing

Makenzie was given the most BEAUTIFUL baby blessing I had ever heard on Sunday. Shane did a wonderful job! She was so good during it too. She didn't cry at all! This little girl is such a blessing to our lives. Words can't describe how much we love her.

She was crying the whole time we were taking pictures. She looks a little calmer in this one :)

With her grandparents

My family

Shane's family

Katie made her dress, headband AND bracelet. I have such a talented sister! Thanks Katie!!!

Isn't this the SWEETEST sad face you have ever seen?!

And isn't THIS the sweetest happy face?

Smiley Girl

Makenzie started smiling a lot about a week ago I love it! She also laughs in her sleep and it is the cutest thing EVER! Unfortunately, I don't have a video of her laughing but here is one of her smiling.

Pavlov's Theory

Before I breast feed Makenzie, I tuck a burp cloth under her chin so that she doesn't get milk all over her. I think she's become "conditioned."

Hiccups

Makeanzie has the cutest "clicking" hiccups!

Makenzie Lee

Makenzie Lee Klenk was born on September 18, 2011 at 6:01 PM. She weighed 7 pounds and 6 ounces and was 21 inches long. She had a full head of dark brown hair and dark blue eyes (I think they will change color). She is perfect in every way and we love her sooooooooooooooo much! I love being a mom more than i ever thought would be possible.

Right before I gave birth to Makenzie

Poor Makenzie was ready to come out an hour before my doctor FINALLY showed up. The nurses made me stop pushing to wait for the doctor. The result: a poor cone-shaped Makenzie head. It rounded out into a perfect little head a couple days later though :)

Uncle Jay and Aunt Alley

Shane had his own little bed to sleep in at the hospital in my room :)

Here are some more pictures of our precious baby girl!

Shanes Grandparents and Aunt sent us a gliding rocking chair in the mail! Shane put it together.

I LOVE this chair!!!! I use it all the time!

Right after her cord fell out. She has such a CUTE belly button!

Her first real bath

She is always so good when we give her baths. She shivers and shivers and still never cries

I love it when she sucks her thumb!

Makenzie loves to have her hands on her face whether is is asleep or awake.
I love this little girl so much! She is the greatest blessing I have EVER received!
