February

My poor little Henry got his finger closed in a big heavy door at church. It was heartbreaking. He favored that poor finger for weeks afterward until the nail finally came off.

Kenzie has been asking to make a doll and we finally did it! Thanks, Mom, for the adorable doll kit!

Kenzie loves her spoon doll!

Great Grandma Klenk sent the kids $5 each for Valentines day so we went to a little sweet shop near by to let them pick out whatever treat they wanted. They chose cake pops and loved them :) This a pretty typical Henry face, by the way, but we still love him :)

Eating her cake pop!

Still favoring that sad little finger...

Love finding little toys with wipes placed neatly over them as blankets. I'm pretty sure Henry did this one :) What sweet, nurturing children I have!
Story time!

Snow! We hardly got any this year so we really had to take advantage of the days we did get it.

Cuddle bugs!

Henry and his horse. He loves this thing and learns more daring tricks on it every day. It can be kind of scary sometimes :)

Treats to Eat

This little Henry absolutely LOVES yogurt. If I cant get him to eat anything else, I can always count on at least getting some yogurt into his belly. I even dilute it with plain yogurt so it's not so sugary and he still loves it!

And, yes, it always ends in a mess at least this big.

My mom gave Shane some awesome Star Wars ship pancake molds for Christmas. They ended up making really great (and huge) cookie cutters too!
Kenzie rolled out this section of dough, cut her ship out and peeled off the surrounding dough all by herself.

Yes, she did pour that entire bottle of pink sprinkles on that one cookie.

Kenzie is my little kitchen helper. She absolutely loves to help me prepare any meal but treats are especially fun, of course!

Andrew

Andrew came home from his mission in the second week of January. The kids and I made a trip to California to greet him home.

Spinning in circles in the airport while waiting for Andrew

Katie made these awesome shirts for all the nieces and nephews. Henry's and Matthew's shirts accidentally got put on backwards, but the rest of them say "Uncle" :)

Our fist sight of the returned missionary coming down the escalator!

In celebration of his homecoming, our whole family went to Disneyland. We had a blast! We had so much fun that this is the only picture I was able to get all day long.
Kenzie absolutely loves Minnie Mouse :)
Little Mattew
Cousin lovin'

We tried to get a group shot of all the cousins but my kids kind of made it difficult...

My lovely family!

And my crazy family!

Break

And by break, I mean Christmas break :)
Henry and Makenzie love to pull each other around in this little wagon. I just love it when they play together.

Kenzie and her friend Willy

I tried desperately to get a good, frame-able picture of these two together, but Henry was just not having it that day. It's okay because I kind of love this picture that I got instead :)

Taking her animals, baby, and sippy to bed with her. Her arms are usually full like this when getting into bed.

This is a picture of Kenzie on her first day of primary at church. I cant believe this little girl has graduated from nursery and that I have a little Sunbeam now! I sobbed when I dropped her off at the primary room. I am going to be an absolute wreck when the day comes to drop her off at school.

You cant tell super well from the picture, but her head isn't even on the mattress. It's completely hanging off the bed. She always sleeps in the most comfy positions :)

Almost every night before Makenzie goes to bed, she gets a little daddy time with Shane playing Star Wars legos. She absolutely loves this time with her dad and begs to play Star Wars legos with him every day. It is really fun to hear them playing and using their imaginations with each other.

Kenzie and I went on a little mommy-daughter date to go ice skating. Makenzie had a blast learning to maneuver those skates on the ice. It was really fun for me to see her experience something so new and exciting to her.

Henry is my little snuggler and he still loves to be wrapped up in a blanket. Shane tucked this blanket around him to see how long he would stay on that couch and Henry did not disappoint us. He was totally content snuggled up in his blanket on that couch for the longest time before he finally decided to get up and play.
