Shane, Makenzie and I have had a month full of family and I'm sad that it is now ended. Though the traveling was exhausting, this was one of the most wonderful and memorable months ever. There is nothing in this world more important than family and NOTHING can bring greater joy than that you find in these wonderful people.
Almost a month ago now, we went to New Jersey to visit the Klenk side of Shane's family. It was especially exciting because none of the family had gotten to meet Makenzie until now. We had such a wonderful time visiting, sharing stories, looking at old photo's and eating lot's of yummy food.
It was such an enjoyable visit. I only wish that we could see each other more often. I am so grateful that I married into such a good and loving family.

| One morning, outside our breakfast room, there were TONS of these fat birds flying all around eating berries off a tree right outside the window. Grandma let me know that they were Red Breasted Nuthatcher's. I wish I had taken pictures of them then because they never came back. I was lucky to get a picture of at least one the next day. They were so cute! |

| We made a little trip to Philadelphia to Independence Hall, where the Declaration of Independence was signed. Although, frigid outside, it was a neat little day trip. |

| This is Shane's cousin, Rachel. She is Carolyn's daughter and she is just as lovely a person as her mother. We were so glad that she took work off just to spend the day with us. |
