Idaho/Utah

I have really procrastinated this blog but oh well. I went with my family to Utah to take Emma to EFY and then we went to spend the week in Idaho with Kaite's family. We had so so so much fun!
None of our nasal cavities agreed with the weather the entire trip. Andrew, Emma, and I each had several nose bleeds.

We had lots of interruptions on our way to Utah. First we had to stop in Bishop to get oil. The car was acting kind of funny the whole way to Tehachapi. When we got there, dad figured out that we were extremely low on transmission fluid. So it was another stop at an auto parts store.

THEN, right before we got to Ely, our car was acting REALLY funny. It felt like the breaks were locking up all on their own... it turns out they were. We stopped, again, and this is what we found. These are the wires that are supposed to connect to the trailer. They somehow broke and were dragging on the asphalt thus causing the trailer breaks to seize up. We drove the rest of the way to Ely with no breaks on the trailer.

We at least had very pretty scenery to enjoy while we were momentarily stuck.

After going to three different auto parts store in Ely, Dad found what he needed to fix the problem. It was almost 8 PM by then so we camped in Ely for the night.

The next day we decided to take advantage of our unplanned stay and rode the Ely ghost train.

It was really fun. We all really enjoyed the historical ride.

We met up with Katie and her family on Saturday night and spent the day at the visiter's center on Sunday.

Our wonderful cousin's met us there. We had so much fun with them.

Miriam made this beautiful blanket for our little baby girl. I love it so much and can't wait to wrap up my sweet baby with it. I love Miriam! She is always so sweet and thoughtful.

Everyone came to the trailer that night for spaghetti:)

Emma didn't do much better than Lily:)

I don't really remember why they were standing on that table.

I love our Howe cousins!!!!!!

We hiked up to the "This is the place" monument on Saturday with Clark and Amy's family. I know this picture is really blurry but I wanted to show Nicole's boot on her foot. She hiked up that steep trail like champ. She didn't complain once and never even fell to the end of the line.

New Blog and Emma's graduation

I made a new blog because I was tired of logging into and out of my gmail just to be able to get onto my blog. So I made it so this blog corresponds with my gmail. It's working pretty well so far:)

Last week I went to Emma's graduation from junior high. It was really fun and she looked so pretty! I swear she gets prettier all the time!

I know this picture is super out of focus but I couldn't resist putting it up. Everyone's faces look so funny!
